Chapter VI
The Final battle. The Three Lords congregate at the Peak of Tarantula Hawk and with all of them together, the Scholars attempt to use their dark energy to bring upon the Apocalypse and end the Fifth Age. Unbeknownst to the gathered evils on the peak, The Wizard is approaching; ready to strike them down once and for all...
lyrics
ASCEND MOUNT OF IRON SOIL
WINDY SERPENT OF WINTER'S COIL
THROUGH COLD WINDS I PICK UP STRIDE
REFLECTIONS OF BITTER SKIES
ASHES OF EMBERS OF WOMB DEEP INSIDE
BEAST COMETH SOON AS I HEAR DEMON CRIES
THERE IS NO CHOICE BUT TO STAND UP AND FIGHT
BATTLE THE HORRORS OF WRETCHED BLIGHT
AS I APPROACHED THE MAGMA STREAMS
GASEOUS RIVERS OF TOXIC DREAMS
I SAW LIGHT THROUGH THE ASH AHEAD
LORDS OF FIRE, ICE AND DEAD
VANQUISHED WITH SPEAR WAS THE KING OF THE DEAD
FED BACK TO EARTH WAS THE GOLEM IN SHRED
LAST WAS THE LORD OF THE FIRE AND FROST
FELL BACK TO WORLD AS THE POWER WAS LOST

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo

For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst
A stoner-rock opera with dystopian themes, the Italian band's third LP fuses apocalyptic fury with psychedelic splendor. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 29, 2023

Utterly hypnotic, heavy, and ethereal beyond what I can aptly describe here. It'll take you careening down a kaleidoscopic wormhole of audial bliss. cynothoglys
